Another good, fun night at The Old Navy Vilamoura, last night, despite a lengthy delay (due to technical problems) at the start! So, many thanks to... Dave and Jane who were there once again. Dave teamed up with Liz right at the end of the night for U2s One. Cheers for the drink! To Ken who took a front row seat for Human and American Pie. Val and Caroline came along for their final night, and Val stepped up to sing Sweet Caroline...for Caroline! Caroline also got the Galway Girl one last time! Thank you for coming in every night and enjoying yourselves - have a safe journey back! Paul from Liverpool was there with wife Margo. Hes a blue nose though, and shes red...Man Utd. red, that is! He wasnt keen on hearing Gerry & The Pacemakers Youll Never Walk Alone, which was for Bernie and Jan! They also wanted to hear Blurred Lines, and their son - Neil - was wanting Elvis Costellos Olivers Army. Robin, Carol and Jane were all in for their last night too! Thanks to the nice Portuguese couple who bought me a drink, which warranted the singing of Jorge Palmas Encosta-te a Mim - still one of my favourite songs! Jane and Carol - the Isle of Man deputation - were also in again, and loved Thats Life. Thank you for the drink, both! Thanks to the tables from Derby, Liverpool, Cork, Bristol and London. Christine and the girls from Belfast - Étaín, Pat, Penny and Lynda - all piled in, and one of em was claiming to be from Sligo, which Isnt Galway! Our very Rita was wanting Mustang Sally before she clocked off! And finally, thank you to Kathleen - my very own Midnight Caller - from Cº. Cork, who came along with husband Albert! Nice to see you again after so, so long! Has it really been three years...?
