Another good weekend, though not as good as last weeks. Saturday Fran came by & scooped me up & we went to the Pink Teacup in Fort Green. We feasted on southern fried chicken, potato salad, collard greens, and sweet potatoes. The food was delicious, service was excellent & the restaurant while small was cozy & comfortable. Afterwards we went to see Kevin Costner & Jennifer Garner starring in Draft Day. We both enjoyed the movie & called it a day. Sunday I took advantage of the good weather to work on cleaning up my terrace; table & chairs & some serious window cleaning. Later Tory & I went to Antuns in Queens for my girlfriend, Judys, daughters sweet sixteen. It was a lavish celebration & I got to see a lot of folks I havent seen in a while. Yes, life is good.
