Another great response to our cadets representing our Corps and our University so well last weekend at the Southwest Classic football game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. I am very proud of the fine young men and women who wear the uniform of the Corps of Cadets, and who are such great ambassador for our Corps and our university. I hope you enjoy reading this personal note from a Police Officer who worked at the stadium last weekend as much as I did! Im not sure who this goes to, but I hope you can pass it along to the correct person. I am a Police Officer, and was working inside Cowboys AT&T Stadium during the game, near the Cadets seating area. I have no connection to the University, however I am a former US Marine. I felt the need to pass along how great your Cadets acted at the game. Having worked numerous NCAA games, the normal behavior for college students is drunken and disorderly to say the least. Your Cadets were professional, respectful, and truly represented themselves and the University well. A big thank you to those who are making our future leaders. As a lifetime Longhorn fan, I would be proud to have my son be a part of the Corp of Cadets after last Saturday.
