I am a female solo traveller and it was my first time to Thailand, so I did have some concerns. Especially the resort I booked in Samui is in a very remote area, I worried about the transport a lot. By chance, I discovered Samui Island Explorer and I wrote an email to ask about the pick-up service. To my surprise, Michelle answered within 5 minutes. (When you are all stressed out trying to arrange your trip, and then someone connect to you that soon, you do feel very relieved.) After a few short emails backwards and forwards, I booked a car with Michelle in about 15 minutes. Oddly enough, I am not worried at all that what if Jack never turns up at the airport to pick me up. I guess thats because trust has been built in that 15 minutes communication. Then at Samui Airport, a cheerful and friendly young lad was there waiting for me. That was Jack, super happy young man. I used their car for going to the airport too. There was another time I felt so grateful to Jack. I went to Chaweng to party, the night fell and I had had enough to drink. I was worried to jump into a local taxi, so I called Jack. Only in a little while Jack came to rescue me. He would park the car first and walk in to the venue to get me. I was very happy to see him there! lol Anyway, I wish I could visit Samui in the very near future, I wish Samui Island Explorers business goes well, and I wish I will be able to meet you guys soon!
