Another great weekend! Outside of the small rain delay, it was an awesome night of racing! I finished 3rd out of 9 in my feature, (heats were cancelled due to rain) and it played to my advantage! Our setup was spot on for the "green" racetrack, which allowed me and two other cars to pull away. (The term green refers to the rain washing the rubber off the track, which makes the track have less traction) I got into second and held my position until there was three laps to go, and me and the third place car got locked into a late race battle. I dove into turn three just a little too hard, and washed up the track allowing third place to sneak by. However the big picture is the points standings, its really starting to tighten up. Chad Minnix and I are closing the gap steadily on leader Cam Schoeck every week, and we just have to keep being consistent. The team and I are working hard all week long to throw everything we can at the car to gain even more speed, hopefully it works! Check back later in the week for an update! ->SpeedDemon
