Another great weekend for a great cause, the Northwest Special Olympics. Rose and I participated in the walk/run this morning at Homestead Park. The weather was great! I want to thank, my daughter, Rose, for getting me involved in helping such a special group of kids. This wonderful event was hosted by our dear friend, Kristen Manifold ! Despite her challenges, this girl is ALWAYS so upbeat and ALWAYS looking out for others. She did a fantastic job taking care of everything and everyone today and her speech was so inspirational and moving! Way to go Kristin! This was all followed by a wonderful lunch with my mom! Spending time with the ones I love! Life is short! CANCER SUCKS! LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST!
