Another issue of importance to Gowanus thats getting attention today is the Superfund cleanup plan and sewage overflow issues during heavy rainfall. There will be an informational meeting about these significant environmental concerns tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Wyckoff Gardens Community Center, with an emphasis on the impacts the current state of affairs has had on public housing residents. Please join if you can to hear from and question representatives of government agencies about our shared community interests in proper remediation of these problems.
