Another lattice braid reconstruction: 56 tama, very simple movements. Its a double 2-2 twill braid linked only on the edges. You can make the lattice either light or dark, depending on the color order on two rails. The turquoise thread marks where I switched the color order on those rails to test that idea. The photo with fingers is the underside of the braid. The key to this braid is getting the color order right in the set up. The rails are set up as for a 52-5ama pickup braid, with one tama added to each rail to keep the color sequence intact as the tama circulate through the braid. The movements on all rails are the same as Ue3 (for a 52-tama pickup braid) extended to accommodate the extra tama. An interesting sleuthing project!
