Another letter to the Mayor. I forgive the officer involved. His SGT will be held accountable though for sending them. Mr.Mayor, Some Case-law to prove my point. Your officers were following the orders of SGT Josh Adler when they came out and unlawfully ordered me to leave a public place for filming and criticizing their parking. I might add they had no legal reason to be in Nevada at this point. They had been given the all clear already. SLT PD was searching illegally with a dog in another state. They were following orders which everyone involved knew were illegal and unjustified. I refused to follow unlawful orders and was assaulted for it. I received neck, face and back injuries. I have brain damage from this and another assault by pimps later. I was kidnapped by your department, held in another states jail without cause. refused a supervisor except Adler who had committed the crime in the first place. ALL OF IT IS RECORDED. ALL OF IT. Josh refused to review the video. Refused me a supervisor and denied me my constitutional rights. He started the whole confrontation and conspired to conceal it. He needs to be suspended until an investigation is conducted by outside sources. The DOJ will be involved. You inaction is proof of your consent of the conduct of your officers. I request a reply from you today. I am deciding how to go forward with the city and you as its representative need to respond to me. I directly CHALLENGE YOU AS THE MAYOR....WHAT WAS THE CRIME I HAD COMMITTED YOUR OFFICERS ASSAULTED ME OVER? WHAT WAS I OBSTRUCTING AS THEY HAD NO LEGAL RIGHT TO BE DOING ANYTHING AT THAT POINT IN NEVADA. THEY ARE CITY COPS FROM CALIFORNIA..THEY HAD NO RIGHT TO MAKE CONTACT WITH ME. What crime had I committed to be kidnapped and held for ransom? What crime had I committed to have my phone (still held) taken from me? What crime had I committed to receive neck, back and brain damage? What justification does your DA have in prosecuting me other then to cover the crimes of the city? I will expose your department and your inaction to the public. In order for me to be obstructing..they had to have a legal reason to even be in Nevada. That reason had passed and they had been given the all clear. They should have left Nevada. Not come out and demand I leave a State they had no right to even be in with a badge and a uniform on. The city has allowed its officers to run wild. Abuse citizens, tourists and locals alike. They ignore the law and rules and act like a gang. This incident was just caught on tape. You are responsible for the conduct of your officers. As mayor, 1) why did they make contact with me at all? 2) what crime were they investigating? 3) why were they telling me to leave a public space in a different state outside of SLT when they are SLT PD? 4) Why did he demand I put down my camera? 5) why did he assault me for not putting down my camera? 6) why was I arrested? 7) What had I obstructed to be charged with obstructing? 8) What had I resisted to be charged with resisting arrest? 9) What was the crime they were investigating in the first place when they made contact with me? They came with a police dog and aggressive. They demanded I leave without cause. They assaulted me and another civilian for filming them. What are you going to do about it as mayor? 10) If I had committed no crime. They were investigating no crime as all clear was given. Under what authority were they demanding I leave? Under what authority were they demanding I stop filming and the other civilian? Under what authority did they assault us? Under what authority did they kidnap me? Under what authority did they demand a ransom to release me? Under what authority? Yours! They are SLT PD under the authority you granted them. Alas, they did not have legal grounds to do anything that evening and you and the police department are liable. I challenge you to answer these questions as my mayor. The corruption and misconduct in your department from Johnny Poland on is a disgrace to your department and the city council. Your corruption in your department is beyond reasonable limits. You do nothing while they continue to act like a gang. I will not surrender to thugs and corruption. You have been fully informed and we shall see what your moral convictions are sir.
