Another long excruciating day of heavy emotional swings. Still dont have the final biopsy results but the preliminary results are not good and though the prognosis from the doctors is grim, to say the least, they are only practicing medicine and do not have the final say in this trial. The seizures are continuing but the meds seem to be working to keep them at a minimum, the radiation continues to be administered and it is taking its toll on her energy. She has determined to keep putting food in her body (in small amounts) because she knows she needs to keep her strength up and she is drinking water. I have been there in the early morning hours reading scripture, and prophetic words she has received and written down over the years, over her and praying for her. Her absolute faith in God is truly a testimony of how strong a woman of faith she is. She is alert and as feisty as ever! She continues to declare that she is an overcomer and is not going to lay down and quit! She is determined to beat this thing and I believe she has it within her to do just that. No matter how this all plays out our God will be honored and His faithfulness will be on display for all to see. There is no other God who gives such hope for our future, whether in this world or the next, while giving peace in the midst of the most dire of circumstances. He does not guarantee there will be no problems in this world, in fact Jesus said, without question, In this world you WILL have troubles..., What He does guarantee is that He will be with us during those trials giving us real peace that cannot be understood. Our faith is and shall remain strong through this dark valley of many shadows because we know there can be no shadow if there is no light......
