Another month, another training session! Our latest monthly - TopicsExpress

Another month, another training session! Our latest monthly training took place yesterday evening at Brightlingsea Parish Hall where the topic was manual handling and infection control. We were joined by our newest recruit Elizabeth Morris who contacted us through this Facebook page in August and has now applied to become a First Responder in Brightlingsea. Welcome Elizabeth! We were also joined by the Frinton First Responders led by Patrick Auer, an ex-Brightlingsea member who has recently moved to Frinton, bringing his knowledge and experience into this group. We will be sharing training sessions with Frinton on an ongoing basis, with the next session scheduled to take place in Thorpe on 29th September. Thanks again to Ben Finbow for giving up his time to train us. First Responders are required to have a minimum level of training throughout the year in addition to an annual assessment and this relies on the goodwill of volunteers like Ben from the Ambulance Service who give up their free time to support local groups.
