Another nostalgia moment on Sunday night. One of the largest highlights of the memories of my years at Geffen Records. Traveling with Peter Gabriel to New Orleans for the Gavin Convention to present US to the world for the first time - to the industry with our staff. I spent many weeks with Peter on the road. This record remains to me one of the masterpieces of modern rock and art. To have had a hand it in - no matter how trivial - promoting - was one of the most incredible earthshaking artistic and spiritual moments of my life. It made me love music on the deepest and most incredible possible. Music saved my life. And the artists I worked with raised me to the highest and most lofty standards of genius and self-discipline. Thank you Peter. I miss our talks. I miss seeing the inside of the creative process of your genius. I love everything you create. You are without compare......
