Another one of these kayak/canoe/longboat shaped objects in the Ancient Augusta area. Why so many? While Richard Quimby points out the respective orientation of these artifacts as the are situated on the ground and how the combination of some of them with dispersed rocks in the area provide an alignment point to the moon rise, what other alignments might the more southerly artifacts present? What may not have been discussed in some of the videos, with respect to the dispersed/marker rocks, is the the entire area is essentially devoid of scattered rocks. They have either been shaped into the artifacts or used in the post-Pejepscot era rock walls. So again, why all the effort to move hundreds of tons of rocks into what are purposefully built artifacts?
