Another ordinary weekend at work....the zest of life and the constant surprises never fail to amaze me .....read on because the ending is good ...... Here is how the story goes.... On our return from a pleasant walk in the woods with our dogs at the Malvern autumn show on SATURDAY evening we were walking back along the main avenue to our trade stand (traffic still moving out of show) its now starting to get dark(7 .15pm) in the distance we see a small black fluffy dog running loose on the Tarmac road it then sees a big black dog on a lead with a man circles it and causes the dog to spin round and protect itself.... owner of the dog is oblivious..... As we carry on walking towards them with 3 german shepherds and a terrier i am thinking to my self surely no one can be this stupid ( but my mind is always open to surprises ) and guess what it does the same to my dad and then to Zara and ends up round the back end of mia snapping and snarling at this point martin then shouts to woman can you put your dog on a lead PLEASE bearing in mind she must of been 40 meters away from her dog he then must of repeated this at least 4 times with no response so as she got closer he asked can you recall your dog she just smirked ( or it could of been trapped wind ) Martin at this point decides to stamp on the floor and go urhhh at the dog and slaps lead to ground to scare the dog away then the woman tells Martin the only one that needs to be on a lead is YOU ..... Martin decides to just walk away in the mean time security were watching and told me that the woman had been told about her dog twice the day before and apparently 6 other shows there had been problems the security then walks down to pay her a visit We arrive back at our stand Martin goes to fetch some water while I am sorting dinner out next thing I see is a raving lunatic that looks like the owner of the dog but in the mean time has been possessed by the Devil eyes wide and frothing at the mouth asks my dad WHERE IS HE my dad said he is round the corner... At this point I step in and try and explain to her that she needs to take responsibility of looking after her dog other wise it is going to get run over or attacked by another dog still fuming her reply is well my dog has not got run over yet .... And he has traumatised my child and my dad said it could be a lot worse if your child sees something terrible happen to your dog at this point she catches sight of her prey.... He is returning with his 15 Lt. watering can full to the brim when he heres a war cry of the devil woman calling him a big Wan....r and further abuse the swearing getting worser and she ends up in his face she accuses him of swearing at a lady his reply was I did not swear and you are definitely not a lady (this is not looking too good at this point) devil woman then goes towards him to grab his tee shirt and as he steps back away from her the watering can gets raised high and on lookers are looking in excitement and despair will he or wont he !!! The next thing we hear and see is the crashing of water on top of her head the devil woman then is stunned and silent .... Martin then carrys on walking at this point she comes after him again swearing and cursing ( at least the froth has gone from her mouth she is not happy !!) then shouts right in his face I have all the evidence I need you will get chucked off the show luckily he had been sensible with his resources and still had 5 lts of water left in the can on lookers are once again looking on in only excitement this time !!! YES you guessed it rest of water gets chucked over her head and at this point he gets further abuse she finally goes and security tell us she is going to report him to the police and the morals of this story ......always put your dog on a lead when politely ask too and if you see a big bold bloke never call him a big Wan...k especially when he is carrying a watering can !!!!!
