Another productive day for Michael. His therapies were more spaced out in the morning so he wasnt completely drained for his afternoon sessions. In speech, worked on some brain games and puzzles. Occupational threw some bean bags in a target and threw some squishy basketballs into a net. Played wii volleyball, where he worked on the movements of bumping, setting, and serving- preparing for church volleyball ;) - Also in physical therapy did a lot of walking on his own without any help! The therapist was just there in case he needed some help on correcting himself but he did great! Practiced some steps along with transferring from a couch to the ground so he can play with Payton! Today was focused more on his balance which is improving tremendously each day. Tomorrow we will get to work on transferring into a car and meet with our case manager again. Hopefully they can tell us a date on when we can get out of here!
