Another quick update to let everyone know that I am safe and satisfied on the Appalachian Trail! This past week I passed my first state line (Georgia to North Carolina!)... The first of 14, if all goes well! I also passed the 100 mile mark - a beautiful view atop a watchtower on Albert Mountain. So worth the climb! Today was a rainy one, but so far the weather has been ideal for hiking. No bears, but Im up to 5 snakes for the dangerous wildlife count! And tonight...? My first shower in a week! Thanks again for all of your support and thank-you to those who have donated to InspirAction and their efforts in Haiti. The blog will be up and running and I will be posting my first full update as soon as I have a few moments (and wifi!). steps2rebuild Happy trails!
