Another reason to avoid flying Air Canada. Not that anyone needs more reasons. Ive seen this myself with American Airlines as well at the airport in Puerto Rico. We had expensive studio flash systems in protective cases being thrown around by the luggage handlers even though they were clearly marked Fragile. When I confronted them they literally laughed out loud. Whenever possible I avoid flying North American based airlines so I can avoid these situations. Flying on Japan Airlines this week proved to me once again that it is possible to fly on a major airline and be treated with respect. Not sure why we have to put up with the BS attitudes of the major North American airline employees (West Jet is a clear exception). Flying British Airways next week to Italy just to avoid flying on Air Canada. It makes me sad to think that Im better off flying a foreign airline than my own national airline. Get your act together Air Canada... Seriously.
