Another reason why homeschooling rocks (for us, anyway). This year we are covering A History of European Art, loaned to us by my dear friend Daniel K Carpenter. During a lesson the Bayeux tapestry was discussed and Martin asked what happened during that time if someone broke the law (who decided what was law). Which led to a discussion of literacy during that time (why people allow themselves to be ruled) Which led to a discussion of kings and power (the church crowning kings). Which led to a discussion of the difference between religion and faith. Love the way his mind works!
