Another reference against Musharaf- The Traitor. The Chairman National Accountability Bureau Islamabad Subject: REFERENCE AGAINST EX-GENERAL PERVEZ MUSHARAF U/S 9, 10, 11 & 12 OF NATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY ORDINANCE Reference NAB letter No. 1(689)/2012/DO(R)IM-1/NAB dated 25-04-2013. It is respectfully submitted that on 2nd April 2013 the undersigned forwarded a written complaint containing documentary evidence regarding massive corruption committed by ex-military dictator during his illegal and illegitimate tenure of government. He not only violated his office of oath, being holder of public office, sold his fellow countrymen and dependents of those missing persons are still loitering around the courts of law in search of their nears and dears one. He himself confessed in his own book at Page 237 that we have earned bounties totaling million of rupees. He injected corruption into the senior hierarchy of the armed forces by allotting them plots over and above their entitlements and the worst example was that he allotted apart from agricultural land and stud forms, more than 85 commercial/residential plots to General (Retd) Yousaf, his then Vice Chief of Army Staff. 1. That on 10th April 2013 additional documents containing the list of his huge assets including inland and offshore accounts, various properties, fleets of luxurious vehicles beyond his known income are held in his name and his spouse name without paying any tax were also forwarded. 2. That surprisingly, instead of taking any action on the complaint, on 25th April 2013, the undersigned was intimated vide letter ibid number dated 25-04-2013, that the allegations pertain to the ex-general as he was COAS, therefore, it does not come in the ambit of NAB Ordinance 1999, being serving Army Officer. 3. That the stance taken by Mr. Fasih Bukhari, the then Chairman NAB was ill founded, erroneous and based on malafide. Since he himself was beneficiary of those plots, therefore he did not initiate the reference and thus provided the opportunity to the ex dictator to dispose of his certain assets. 4. That more so, the Pakistan Army Act 1952, does not contain any sentence for corruption as concept of corruption was not their in the minds of framers of the Army Act way back in 1952. At that time no body could imagine that an army officer, a loyal citizen of state, groomed and trained in a discipline, neat and clean atmosphere could abrogate the Constitution of his own country under which he took his oath of office for its protection and preservation, could manipulate the resources of the state and could sell his fellow beings for his personal gains for whom he was paid to defend and protect them. Apart from above, recently, NAB has also taken cognizance of 3 generals those allegedly caused loss of billion of rupees to NLC, an organization established out of national exchequer. The Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan also made similar observations in C.M No. 486 of 2010 and the NAB authorities were asked to apprise the reasons for not filing any reference against the beneficiaries and the authority which passed the orders in Dr. Mubashir Hassan case while adjudicating the said CM application. Therefore, keeping above in view, it is earnestly requested that criminal proceedings should be initiated against the said military dictator and immediate embargo should be imposed on transfer of his ill-gotten assets and at the same time his name should be also placed on ECL till the disposal of reference. Complainant Lt Col (R) Inam-ul-Rahiem, TI(M)
