Another rich full weekend. Last evening the Alexader Society here at Anns Choice hosted: you guessed it, the Alexander String Quartet from San Francisco, California. They are of a caliber that they would be well received at the Wooster Chamber series. Then today after church as you see Julie took us to hear a concert by Singing City, an interracial group of singers that was groundbreaking in Philly. The toured the south singing for interracial groups in the south. They sang an unusual song about Ben Franklin that was written by a 17 year old High School student. The program included songs from many of the cultures within this area. Next week a Klezmer group is coming to Anns Choice performing arts center. Talk about variety. Were more and more certain that this was the right place to come. We went to the city on the train again. Works well.
