Another round of precipitation is expected to develop later this morning and continue through the afternoon before winding down from west to east this evening. This will mainly affect areas from Tucson eastward. The air mass remains cool enough that snow is again expected above 6,500 feet, accumulating above 7,000-7,500 feet with generally 2 to 4 inches of new snow expected. A few isolated mountain top areas could see up to 6 inches of new snow through this evening. This will be the final shot of precipitation with this series of systems and dry weather is expected Friday through Wednesday of next week. With clearing skies later tonight, there is the potential for areas of fog to develop late tonight through Friday morning which could affect travel around southeast Arizona.
