Another thing I liked about Bush W. was his stance on Border issues. He often tried to support immigration reform and push for a more charitable perspective on the immigration issue. Unfortunately, he rarely, if ever, got the support of his conservative base. As time went on, he succumbed to political pressure and fell in line with Party ideology (kinda like Obama). BTW: the other aspect of his presidency I defended was his stance on space exploration. Obamas immediate stance on this was my second dent in his armour (the first was his inexperience).
