Another tropical wave located near 55 west longitude and south of 15 north latitude continues to be embedded within a deep layer of moisture. However, a large region of African dust and dry air continues to follow this wave, affecting mostly its northern half. This area of dust is expected to diminish as the wave approaches the Lesser Antilles. This wave is expected to reach the Windward Islands south through Trinidad and Tobago on Friday and Friday night with an increase in clouds, showers and gusty winds. Computer forecasts show this wave moving across the southern Caribbean on Sunday and early next week, reaching the southern portion of the Yucatan Peninsula by Tuesday or Tuesday night.
