Another tune from the collection of our eccentric yet extremely huggable music manager Kobad Mobedjina is another newbie tune thrown in to the Radio One Playlist. So this is actually a cover of Welsh singer Duffys track Mercy that garnered her a Grammy and made her a household name. Now this song got a whole revamp by this relatively unknown group called The Third Degree from London, rendered a funk, R&B version of Mercy. Now The Third Degree are actually a group of struggling session musicians who came together with a young singer called Jon Allen, solely for this recording.
