Another unforgettable evening it was...... 6 pm u decide to leave from your office(in udyog vihar) and what u see its raining heavily !!! Ur happy and there is a sigh of relief. Since I had to travel on bike I along with couple of people from office decided to stay back till the rain stops. We had tea and pakoras with the joy of rains while we were in the office. And we saw a wagon R from our office glass on 2nd floor, which wasnt even moving by an inch while it was 7 pm in the clock. We eventually had more tea and patties(this time) to pass the time. I suppose it was 8 pm in the clock, when a guy turned back into the office fully drenched and he informs that after an effort of two hours he reached Shankar Chowk, which is hardly 500 meters from our office and returned due to this traffic which wasnt moving at all. To confirm we saw the wagon R and it was still there. While a couple of people tried to make an effort and we got them back in a span of half an hour fully drenched. We wait and it 9 pm around the clock and the wagon R was still viable from our glass. Finally there was a sudden flow in the traffic and all the vehicles disappeared from our visibility and we decided to leave the office. Though it was raining so we decided to keep our laptops in the ofc and leave. To our not so surprise we found this traffic and the wagon R in front of us hardly 100 meters away from the office, while we were drenched in the rain. We tried 3 different lanes in half an hour but all jammed due to traffic. Finally it was decided to board the metro, rapid one first and than the yellow line. While everyone reached their home sooner or later I missed my train at kashmere gate and hence took the last metro to GTB nagar to take the auto from there. Finally I am home and writing this post as soon as I lie on my bed, tired and numb.
