Another vacation: It is estimated that the cost of the rooms alone for the president and his staff will cost upwards of $200,000. But that is jut the start of what it will cost the taxpayer for him to relax. According to boston, Obama’s air travel costs around $179,000 per hour and if you take into account the 6 hour round trip time, you’re looking at over $1,000,000 for just the flights. If you add up the rest of the costs associated with a vacation for the president, it is estimated this trip will cost taxpayers nearly $3.3 million dollars.
