Another version of religious hypocrisy in Nigeria: In Islam, Prophet Mohammed (SAW) taught that jumaat should not marry wives or bear children they couldnt fend for. However, what we found in most Muslim homes/families especially in Northern Nigeria is an eyesore. Most Muslims marry in multiples, bear children in double digit figure (are you recruiting for Man Utd feeders team?) etc. in Northern Nigeria you will find a man who already has twelve children of school ages, all begging for alms while at the same time all his three wives will be concurrently pregnant and expecting babies! Are babies for sale???? No wonder, poverty rate is higher in Northern State of Nigeria than in Southern State. For every ten beggars on the street of Nigeria, you will find 7 abokis. Begging for alms least common among the Igbos. Igbo Kwenu!!!!! Nigeria kwenu!!!!!
