Another veteran was transported to and from Charlotte VA CBOC today bringing DAV Chapter 12 up to 8 trips so far this month. One more is scheduled for next week and February requests for trips are already coming in. Chapter 12 needs more drivers. Please volunteer to assist our veterans by becoming a DAV driver. The DAV Chapter 12 Service Officers will be on duty Saturday morning from 8 until 12 to assist veterans with the construction of their claims for veterans benefits. DAV National Sr. Vice-Commander Ron Hope is schedule to be at the next DAV Chapter 12 meeting Tuesday, January 28. Please plan to attend and show your support for a national leader from our Stanly County Chapter.
