Another video. This one may seem like a strange one to post, but those who understand #RettSyndrome will get the significance... Its just a normal evening, doing the bedtime routine. Anna was about... 18 months, I believe? Her regression had begun, but it had thus far only stolen her words (though we thought it was just a temporary quiet phase). Her hands were still functional. And at this point, we had never even heard of Rett Syndrome. We had no idea what we were going to lose in only a few short months, and would continue to lose for another year after the regression became known. For those unfamiliar with the damage Rett does, take note of how well she uses her hands, and her response time at the very end, when I ask her to give me the toothbrush. #RettSucks #CureRettSyndrome #SpeakOut
