Another west suburban movie theatre, the beautiful Lido on 5th Ave. in Maywood. In its day it was the premier theatre in the west suburbs. My great uncle was a projectionist there for many years, we would visit him and see a free movie once in awhile. In the older photo you can see the windows of the projection booth and a door leading out to the roof which was a nice perk as he could get away from the noise of the projectors and some fresh air. The second photo was from the late 70s and not far from its death as a theatre.
