Another whirlwind trip to Ontario, this time for a nighttime parade in Amherstburg. We decked the mutt-mobile out with a lighted sled on top, Siberians and sled dogs galore, all lit up and ready to rock and roll. Such a lovely town, and a huge turn out for the parade despite the bitter winds and below freezing temps. It is so wonderful to see the looks on the childrens faces when they see the sled dogs in their element, all fired up, singing and so full of joy. We do these crazy road trips for love of mushing and all it means to those of us who live for these sled dogs. Angel, Kaos and Pax crave it, and you know I will do anything for the trifecta of terror ;) I feel I have found my home in my Soul with this group of amazing humans and their furry kids. The kindness of those I have met in and through the SSASO group make the cold disappear, and make me forget I am turning blue ;) LOL Thank you to all those in the SSASO group for welcoming us in a year ago - you know we love you all!
