Another winter it seems has arrived in the Northland, bringing the cold and the darkness and the approach of the holidays and time to gather with family and friends during these difficult months as we await the return of spring. I thought of Will today as we watched the Green Bay Packers (sorry Vikings fans) dominate the Philadelphia Eagles today followed by a hilarious Jeff Dunham special where he takes his ventriloquist dummies on tour all over the world. It was a day Will would have thoroughly enjoyed sharing with us, and we missed the joy he brought to all the peoples and the places he loved. As the holidays approach, this will be the first holiday where my book about Will, Where Theres Will, Theres A Way will be available in an e-book form. With all of the challenging news out there in the world today, the story of Wills dedication and his positive attitude during his incredible journey are as pertinent and inspiring as ever. Some of you who have read the book and liked it have written reviews on Amazon, ITunes, Barnes and Noble, and Goodreads, and I am so grateful for that. However, I find that to be able to share Wills story with a wider audience, I need to have more reviews of people who enjoyed the book in order to be able to be listed in some e-book marketing resources. For those of you who have read the book and found it worthwhile and have not written a review to date, would you please be willing to go to Amazon (especially), or ITunes, or BarnesandNoble, or Goodreads (especially) and leave a review? I would be much obliged for any assistance you can provide in this way. I am enclosing links for those sites below. amazon/Where-Theres-Will-Way-Reflections-ebook/dp/B00I9QGT1G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397874941&sr=8-1&keywords=where+there%27s+will+there%27s+a+way+-+reflections https://itunes.apple/us/book/where-theres-will-theres-way/id824003388?mt=11 barnesandnoble/w/where-theres-will-theres-a-way-reflections-on-my-son-will-and-his-cancer-journey-tom-canan/1118598713?ean=2940148135616 https://goodreads/book/show/20748103-where-there-s-will-there-s-a-way?from_search=true Second, I wanted to let everyone know that I intend to place the e-book version of the book on sale at those websites from Friday November 21 to Monday December 1, 2014. The e-book will be cut in price for that period only from $4.99 to $2.99. As you think about the gifts you want to get over Black Friday and the Thanksgiving week and weekend for your family and friends, I would ask that you sincerely consider giving them a copy of Wills book. For about the price of a typical menu item at Starbucks, you can share Wills story of love, hope, courage, faith, and humor in the most difficult of times with somebody you love. I also still have a limited number of print versions of the book available as well. Because the costs for publishing a print book are so much more and to cover the cost of postage, the cost to order a print version is $18.00. You can send me a message through Facebook or you can e-mail me to let me know whom you would like the book to be dedicated to and where you would like it to be mailed. My e-mail address is tomcanan51@gmail Print versions of the book are now also available at Canadian Honker Restaurant in Rochester, as well as at Christian Book and Gift Shop, Mayo Clinic Hospital - Methodist Campus Gift Shop and Mayo Clinic Hospital - St. Marys Campus Gift Shop. Again, all of the proceeds from my book sales will be donated back to charities that helped Will and our family and other families with kids fighting cancer, so your purchase will help other kids still in the fight. It is the best kind of gift you could ever give to kids that still need to find light and hope through the kindness of others when all they see in their cancer fight is darkness. I wish many blessings on each of you and your families as we give thanks at Thanksgiving and at Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and the New Years holiday as we finish up 2014 and look forward to all of the promise of a new year. I hope that you remember our sweet Will and all of those brave kids still battling cancer when you do. Thanks for your support.
