Another wonderful night at the Birchmeadow with Otis Gibbs. It was great to hear him performing some of the new material from his album, Diaries of a Misspent Youth - and to hear some of my favourites from previous albums. Its always such a pleasure to welcome him back to Broseley. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy it. Rebecca Nash played a brilliant support set - she just gets better every time ! Thanks to her - and to Peter Tyler on lights, Diana on the door, Roy and Paul on the bar - and to Alex from SASS in Jackfield who did a great job on sound. Ive just delivered Otis to his train to Nottingham for his last UK gig of the tour. Then after a short trip to Europe hell be heading home to Nashville for a well earned rest. Great to see him again and already looking forward to the next time.
