Answers to Samoa-neigalo Lau Aganuus questions Did Moses really died in the land of Moab? We know from reading the Bible that Elijah was taken by a chariot of fire - 2 King 2:12-15. And Moses died in the land of Moab - Deut 34:5-7. But we also learn from (Luke 9:28-33) that Moses and Elijah were seen on the mountain conversing with Jesus. Lukes testimony proves that Moses did not die, because, no one can come back from the grave before Jesus Christ resurrection. According to Paul, James and John..Jesus Christ is the firstfruit of resurrection - 1 Cor 15:20, James 1:18 & Rev 14:4. This is my personal opinion. Have a good day and God bless! Question: Did Moses really died in the land of Moab? And Moses died in the land of Moab - Deut 34:5-7. 5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. 7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. 8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. Answer: The answer is quite clear here that Moses died and all the customary observances were carried out because of it. Question; We know from reading the Bible that Elijah was taken by a chariot of fire - 2 King 2:12-15: 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. 13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; 14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. 15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. But we also learn from (Luke 9:28-33) that Moses and Elijah were seen on the mountain conversing with Jesus. Luke 9:28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. 29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. 30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: Lukes testimony proves that Moses did not die, because, no one can come back from the grave before Jesus Christ resurrection. Answer; First of all without looking at all the references we can never say that something is proven without the scrutiny of the whole Bible. Thats one basic fundamental law of studying the Bible.[2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: ] If we look at verse 29; ...the fashion of his countenance was altered and his raiment was white and glistering. This is in reference to the celestial bodies being different from earthly ones as we see: [1Corinthians 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.] What we see here is that the Lord Jesus Christs appearance altered from His terrestrial body (earthly) Notice the reference to white raiment which is a picture of those that have died and are saved as we see the reference with Johns vision: Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Those that have died have these kind of clothing. Look at another reference in verse 4 following; Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. So we can confirm that the people talking to Jesus were like those seen by John who are in their celestial body. Question; According to Paul, James and John..Jesus Christ is the firstfruit of resurrection 1 Cor 15:20 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Rev 14:4 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. This is my personal opinion. Have a good day and God bless! Answer; We already know the answer because Moses and Elijah have not been resurrected. They are still in heaven awaiting the resurrection of Gods chosen. No one has come back from the dead except the Lord Jesus Christ, so theres no controversy, no contentions, and no arguments here. The Bible is very clear on these issues. Let me make a point: One thing that has helped me is that I totality, unequivocally, without one iota of doubt that the Bible is the Word of God, all 66 books of it. I will defend it to the hilt. This is necessary in order top understand the Bible. When standards are developed. there had to be an absolute confirmation of it from all sources so that an inch in America is the same as in Russia and in the Congos etc. Let me give you an example which I have quoted many times in our Bible studies and this is the4 premise of the Gospel. God told Adam and Eve to not eat of the one fruit, the God that created them and provided everything for them. Then came the serpent, a stranger as far as they know and they believed him, I think you should read it; Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. In no time, they were deceived and were banished from the presence of God. Verse 15 tells us that the seed of the serpent. The seed of the woman will be bruised by the seed of the serpent, and the seed of the serpents head will be bruised by the womans. What does that mean? The seed of the woman is Christ who is born of a woman. The seed of the serpent is Satan through false gospels. The heel of the woman is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the head of the seed of the serpent is false gospels. Those that do not believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ will always question the validity of the Bible which fulfill this prophesy. What did the serpent say: 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: You see the serpent told the woman exactly the opposite of what God said. So I expect, if Im bringing the truth that I would be hammered because it is power for the course. I am prepared for it.Because I trust the infallibility if the Bible, I will always be ready to answer any and all questions, because God has prepared me for it. I want to than you brother for the time you take for. The amount of research and scripture that you present, you too, I believed could be used of the Lord, if that is His will. Thanks for the questions.
