Answers to questions about traffic signal timing along South Airport Road: Our contractor (City Light & Power) is working on the signals this week. We are converting from under-the-ground wires to above ground pucks. The one at South Airport and Veterans was dug up when the resurfacing work was done. The one set of underground wires at Cass had already failed. With knowing the road was being done, and with the availability of new technology, we held off. Look for improvements by the first of next week. There still may be some adjusting to do, but thats why the light at Veterans goes thru the whole cycle.
