Ant and I became boyfriend and girlfriend (I use the quotes bc kids swear they know what theyre doing as a boyfriend/girlfriend...and they have NOT a clue....neither did we lol)...anyway, we became that two weeks before Devante LJ was born in 1991. Devante was the name to have because Jodeci was (and IS lol) THE boy band/group at that time and Devante and Dalvin carried all the eye candy weight. SO you know I couldnt forget the name...what I didnt know was that I wouldnt be able to forget the boy and would totally be in love with the man. Now, hes 22 and is graduating from Seton Hall today with a major so long that I forgot and a I minor so short that I forgot that too because I was trying to remember the major when I heard the minor lol. It hasnt been easy for him growing up but he pushed and pushes anyway (how many know that what didnt break you can make you better for who you are destined to be?!?!) and today, that baby (him always Auntie baby lol) is walking!! I got to see you as a baby, then a child, then a teen, and now a young man who I know will grow on to be a successfully GROWN man in his faith in God, in his values, in his marriage (eh hem ;), in parenting, and so much more. I love you Sonphew (son and nephew put together), always and no matter what. I believe in you, always and no matter what.
