Anterior lumbar interbody fusion - For Cervical Spondylosis with Myelopathy and complications! at c2-c3-c4-c5-c6 ----- well thats a big word of what I get for what I got, in the morning. The Doc said at least fours on the table knife in hand! and I hope not a lot of coffee!! I know she will be fairly quick, as she shared the fact that when she is done with me, she is off to vacation in Disney World!! I just hope she doesnt speed it up to get on the road!!! She did make me feel good as she said only a few patients have had implant failure? bone rejection? something about blood clotting? and things like FBSS? or clipping of the already damaged nerve?, (Doc says it is black? on MRI which means dead or dying) permanent neurological deficit with new weakness in a muscle group is possible? Scar tissue? and a bunch of other stuff!!! anyway I dont know why Doctors can not speak English and just tell you what the bottom line is. She mentioned several other things but i was lost on the first few words so I didnt care to go back and ask the all important question of,,,, Huh???? I just know she said only a few have been lost on the operating table! and only a few afterwords! so thats good,,, no Great MY biggest question was will the pain go away? will the feeling come back? and the reply was May not, I dont know, it may get worse... well now why,??? first part is I do it for my wife, in hopes i wont be so irritable!!! should I give up riding the scooter for a month or two then??? I do because I hope it works and well the rest of the question i have not figured out. Then in two months i get to see if they will operate on my shoulder and arms where the real pain is and they wont touch till this is done.. So maybe 3 more months of throbbing pain and they will look into a fix for that! (I would much rather be in a combat zone, earning my keep and feeling like a real person instead of hoping some Doctor is going to fix the problem without finding something else in the meantime!!!! Hmmmm all of this and all i wanted to say was Why dont Doctors speak English?
