Anthony Michael Conner December 9, 2014 Big Stone Gap, VA. Anthony Michael Conner 37 passed away Tuesday (Dec. 9, 2014) from a logging accident. He was of the Christian Faith. He loved the outdoors and motorcycle racing. Anthony is survived by his wife, Amanda Conner of the home, two sons, Braxton Tyler Back and Espn Brent Evans-Conner both of the home, his mother, Dixie Joan Colley of Grundy, his father, Jerry McClanahan of Grundy, his mother and father-in-law, Doris and Greg Large of Big Stone Gap, VA., his grandparents, Curtis and Rose Nell Colley of Buchanan County, VA, his siblings, Dwayne Boyd, Dylan Jackson, Terra Conner and Nikki Boyd Phillips, all of Grundy, VA. He is also survived by his cousins, Tonya Boyd and Bridgett Yates, his nephew, Kendrick Matney, his close friends, Wes Hood and John Paul Justus and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday (Dec. 12, 2004) from 6 to 8 P.M. at Gilliam Funeral Home, 618 Wood Ave. W, Big Stone Gap, Va. Funeral services will follow at 8 P.M. in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Mike Dalton officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday (Dec. 13, 2014) at Glencoe Cemetery.
