Anti-China propaganda from the invading forces that massacred - TopicsExpress

Anti-China propaganda from the invading forces that massacred innocent civilian lives in their anti-terror campaign? Disrespect from a Chinese mining company in destroying the site but not a word of mention about American troops blowing up countless villages, mountains and plains that are also historical sites that hold valuable cultural heritage and the bodies of innocent Afghan children, women, sick and elderly? Wow! What audacity?! Initially, I might still be inclined to show at least some form of support, but apparently, now I see you might have hidden agenda. :) No apparent questioning of American policy in once backing a terror group like the Taliban, getting us all (including innocent civilians around the world, Afghan villagers and their historical heritage) into this shit-hole in the first place? :) Chinese company leases that for 30 yrs to extract copper & its a 30-yr excavation job? What coincidence I must say. :) But then again, they are truly rare national treasures of Afghanistan which are also valuable world cultural heritage. China should negotiate with the Afghan govt. for an extension of the lease period and send in its own archaeological team to help in the proper execution of the excavation project. Why has the Afghan govt. - that is sanctioned by the US - granted mining rights to the Chinese company on a historical site with such important archaeological values, on terms that have no proper safeguard measures in place for protection of national cultural heritage? This is a shared responsibility among all interest parties involved. The mining project wouldnt have taken place without the consent of the Afghan govt. Bear in mind that such a mining project represents a high risk investment by China in war-ravaged Afghanistan that most Western mining Giants would only gladly shun, in effect leaving China to pick up the bills left behind by NATO forces, to feed the Chinese hunger for raw materials that eventually power the regions (China and its central Asian neighborhood) economic growth. As opposed to the majority of Americans staying in the far distance tens of thousands of miles away, the Chinese and Afghan people have profound common interests that are intrinsically tied to their well-being, as close neighbors living next-door to each other. When American corporate elites dare not venture meaningfully into Afghanistan, China is committed long-term to a 30-yr investment deal with the Afghan govt. In contrast, what have American mining Giants offered the Afghan people thus far? Nothing except the trails of blood left after rampaging by the American invaders who are funded in part by money gotten out of the exploitation of local mining communities around the world? Or, instead of complaining about Chinese investments in Afghanistan, do you have a better deal? So, you expect to continue stripping the Afghan people, of whatever economic benefits they can get out of such Chinese investments, however modest they may be?
