Anti-LEED bill threatens state projects: an anti-LEED bill has been introduced in the House of Representatives. Written by the American Chemistry Council, and with pressure from the Louisiana Chemical Association, it appears to be headed for a Commerce Committee hearing next week. The bill is focused on chemical disclosure credits in LEED v4, putting rating system restrictions in place that would prohibit the use of LEED on any state owned or state funded project. No more green schools. Big problems with Federal funding for projects. Email I oppose HB 1067 because it will hurt Louisiana in the subject line to: Rep. Erich Ponti(R-East Baton Rouge), Chair, House Commerce Committee and General Contractor Rep. Thomas Carmody (R-Shreveport) Committee Member and Real Estate Broker Rep. Kenneth Havard (R-Jackson) Committee Member Rep. Paul Hollis (R-Covington) Committee Member
