Anti immigrant rhetoric to stir up mass hysteria for political gain will backfire.....the last time that tactic was used was pre WW2......the government is to blame for in work benefit legislation that makes the UK a magnet for low paid poor populations from elsewhere migrate to a supposed land of milk and honey. I cannot envisage a time when hoardes of Britons would consider emigrating to Eastern Europe for work....can you ???......The government system is wrong, corrupt and is extremely hard to change under the current FPTP system.....Whichever way you vote in 2015, in whatever constituency, the one sure thing will occur.....Cameron or Miliband will be the next PM and Conservatives or Labour will be running this country for 5 years. The balance of power could be held by UKIP, SNP or LIBDEMS but nothing will drastically change in your local area.....the ONLY true way of having your voice heard without the fear of it being diluted by being shackled to the dead corpse of political party affiliation and agenda, is to vote in the ancient manner that the House of Commons was built for in the first place.....a true INDEPENDENT vote and voice with only the local electorate issues at heart....a strong voice that is able to skilfully articulate the needs of the local area in the bear pit that is the chamber of the house, intelligent enough to know the correct places to find funding and support,.... and is tenacious and robust enough to persevere to achieve where others fail, to obtain what is desperately needed for the area in terms of infrastructure requirements, legislation to ensure fair wages without the need for taxpayer funded benefit top ups, fair GP and Police funding, Urgent NHS action at Pilgrim, Repealing of ROCs....the list is endless and will take up an awful lot of time for an MP....time that a normal party MP will find hard to find with their other activities, resulting in substandard attention given to all areas of local concern.
