Any Kahns of Tarkir draft enthusiasts been gettin some good drafts in? For those that are Im curious what you think are some underrated cards in the format are and why. My current top pick (for underrated card) is Howl of the Horde. I realize its odd to choose a rare for an example but its a card I have only seen one opponent play out many drafts Ive done, and with great success. This pick is based off my experience drafting by myself or with Aaron on MTGO. I know people have had access to it in many drafts Ive been in/apart of because Ive passed (more than once)/seen it get passed around the table many times and have never seen it played till last night. I was shown the light when an opponent attacked, cast Howl of the Horde, then cast Arrow storm (coping it two times for a total of 15 damage, decimating my alpha strike and quickly beating me down with my best guys gone). Since then Ive had/seen it in two drafts I was apart of- doubling Force Away, Bring Low, Arc Trail, Mardu Charm, a reduced cost Murderous cut and this last play of this draft *(pictured below) I just 3-0d that was rather exciting, for lack of a better word. Another point that is strange to me how such a clearly powerful card has just flown completely under the radar. Im assuming for the most part people think its too situational or too expensive to be relevant. (Those were my thoughts anyway) Am very curious to hear some of the communities picks for underrated cards, your opinion on why, and reasoning on why you think your pick is underrated for Kahns of Tarkir draft-- the amazing format that it is!! (the first picture is an example of Howling a Rakshasas Secret, having the opponent discard six of his seven cards in hand... (while filling up my graveyard for some possible delve action of course).
