Any advice for this type of situation? --Being in a clothing store and having a clerk suggest that you can find your size in the plus size department-- Someone posed this question on my FB page. I told her Id ask you guys for suggestions on how you respond to comments like this. Another example is: when I was in early recovery and gaining much- needed weight, someone asked me, Why in the world would anyone call you Skinny Jenni? You might recognize this story from my book, Life Without Ed. Basically, how do you effectively respond to insensitive body image comments in a positive, pro-recovery way?
