Any aspiring airline pilots? My CPL/IR training in Bournemouth - TopicsExpress

Any aspiring airline pilots? My CPL/IR training in Bournemouth back in 2010 on the Beechcraft Be-76 Duchess. My training partner is now flying the Phenom 100, the lady started on the Cessna 421 before joining Buffalo Airways in Canada (and she was featured on TV show Ice Pilots), the three other pilots appearing on the video fly the Boeing 737-800, Hawker 800XP and Citation Mustang. PAT (Professional Air Training) is one of the rare schools in Europe to offer a relatively high employment rate (over 50%). While it does not achieve as much as CTC and Oxford CAE, it is also two to three times cheaper and offers much more flying time (including 50h multi-engine compared to 15-20 in most FTOs). There are other very good training organisations in the UK. Schools in Southern Europe (particularly Spain, France and Italy) have employment stats below 10% and I would not recommend them. I did my ATPL Ground School with BCFT. We were a class of 19, 8 of us are now employed as pilots. All the successful ones had a University degree.
