Any continuance in sin, which no longer produces a sense of guilt leading unto repentance, for our flesh seeks to continually suppress holiness and righteousness which is brought out by the power of Christ through the Holy Spirit, should be the very starting point for any person, elect in Christ and by His power, to bring about a rightly renewed relationship with our Lord which has thus become so clouded by sin.
