Any dog dog lovers that live in Rancho Mirage please read below. There is a city council meeting 10/16 to discuss interest in a dog/ kids park on land that is owned by the city. This project needs all the positive support it can get as the last meeting it had only negative support. Its proposed for the northern border of RM near Bob Hope and Dinah Shore. Come on everyone. Dog parks are a good thing. Please forward this on to others. Thanks, Subject: Rancho Mirage Dog Park Hi everyone: I know we all have busy schedules and something like this does not seem important, but Rancho Mirage has a meeting on Thursday Oct 16th starting 1:30 pm at Rancho Mirage City Hall. On the Agenda is a dog/Kids park that the City is trying to put in on city owned-land. The area is 3 acres behind Joanne Fabric and is not near any homes. The City actually owns 52 acres there! Apparently only negative remarks are being made at previous meetings and we need some positive response for the Council to have as well. If you are out of town, pleas at least take the time to go on line at RanchoMirage and shoot an email to the planning department to give them some support and good reasons to put the park in! That’s Thursday at 1:30 City Hall.
