Ryan is a young man who 5 years ago, was a WVU freshman student who was jumped and beaten by two guys, to within an inch of his life. He actually died a few times before surviving, but suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and now requires 24/7 care, for which his father Ken Diviney and his family are mostly responsible for. Its a tragic story which really struck me when learning of it, because of the similarities I shared w Ryan when I was that age.
