Any lawyered up friends know anything that can help me out here? I totally spaced on paying a "talking on cell phone" ticket I got a few months back. My phone was on speaker and I got pulled over. Both me spacing to pay and the issue, were my fault. However, I got a letter today for a FTA and the fee jumped up to 800 dollars. When I went on-line to pay, they said I could reset a court date. I did and now will be attending an arraignment in November. Anyone know anything I can do to get the fee lowered on the ticket or pay the original costs? Thanks!
