Any members have ideas on how to begin to Unite as one Nation and to stop the division we are in? I believe it begins with ourselves first. We must shift our anger, pain, feelings, beyond now of any injustice we have felt and move forward. I believe the majority of our differences have been from being entered into the BC Treaty Process without a proper consensus and vote by the members. This then only created mistrust and the employees defending their jobs, having insider information, forgetting all members do have a say and respecting our voice. Why wouldnt members be angry when their rights have been violated? Look at things from a different angel. What seems negative is really the hurt of betrayal by trusting another in authority to always do the right thing at all times, which did not take place. We still do not know what is going on financially in our Nation in regards to any debts from all the Economic Development we have been entered in. We cant just brush the matters under the rug, we still need to know where we stand. I really do not like how some members actually treat each other. It is very immature and uncalled for based on anothers Political stand. Why be angry at anyone for defending their rights. If jobs are lost that isnt the members fault, those jobs should not have ever commenced without the members approval, consent, and consultation. All members have a say, a vote, a right, to be respected. I am sorry if members have lost Treaty jobs, I truly am, but it is not our fault, the members. I hope Namgis members could see themselves on how we all participate in the continuation to battle each other or to finally stop and find resolutions. Negative words create a respond as good words, so please chose your words carefully. Keep to facts, documents as backup. We are not in this group to fight each other, or disrespect anyones ideas, comments or Political position.
