Any nurse friends up late? Im on Prednisone to counteract the severe allergic reaction I had to the penicillin (which was suppose to be healing my bronchitis…….i know, right?). Im having some weird side effects and wondering if this is normal for prednisone: First, Im hungry all freaking day. Like I feel like Im pregnant, kind of hungry. For the love, Fanfan and I just had PANCAKES at 11:51. Its insatiable. (Sorry Jessica Scott…..). Second, Im retaining so much water. I look bloated in my face and my body is just retaining fluid like crazy. I walked around the mall for 45 minutes, and my calves hurt, like muscle achy. Im SO FATIGUED but cant sleep. Im suppose to start tapering from 60mg, tomorrow. But I started 2 days ago. Im at 30mg and I want to go down to 20 tomorrow, 10mg on fri and be off completely by saturday.
